What can I expect?
Are you ready to plunge into a world where the living and the dead collide in the most spectacular fashion?
Beetlejuice: The Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre is here to haunt London from May 2026 — a bold, uproarious, and surprisingly moving musical based on Tim Burton’s beloved 1988 film.
Meet Lydia Deetz, a teenage outsider with a fascination for the afterlife. When her family moves into a house haunted by newly deceased former residents — the Maitlands — Lydia’s dark curiosity stirs up more than restless spirits. Enter Beetlejuice: the wild, mischievous poltergeist who thrives in chaos and is ready to stir up trouble if it means reclaiming what’s his.
Together, these eccentric characters spin out a story that’s equal parts spook and sparkle.
This production doesn’t hold back. The original Broadway creative team brings with it jaw-dropping stage design, hair-raising special effects, costumes that shimmer in the spotlight, and a score bursting with energy and emotion. You’ll laugh, you’ll gasp, you might even rethink what it means to be alive.
Beetlejuice is “a feast for the eyes and soul,” “screamingly good fun,” and a musical that celebrates life in all its strange glory.
Make your plans now: the show runs at Prince Edward Theatre from 20 May 2026
Whether you’re a die-hard Beetlejuice fan or new to this twisted, charming world — this is your chance to see something unforgettable.
Say his name three times… if you dare.
